Product requirements :
- Lightweight, high strength enclosure.

- Must facilitate quiet operation of camera.
Solution :
A thermoset compression moulding from a multi part tool, allowing recesses and undercuts to be formed. Detail machining provides all the fixturing holes and cut outs.

Product requirements :
- Lightweight enclosure
- Very flat surfaces with fine tolerances
- Must be absolutely lightproof
- High impact resistance and strength
- High quality surface finish
- Must facilitate quiet operation of camera
Solution :
A matched metal compression moulding provides fine moulded detail on both the inside and outside faces.
Foam cores and a mixture of carbon and glass result in structures that have very good sound deadening yet still retain lightness and stiffness.
